St. Louis School Robotics Team A
At last, we totally build up the all in one robot on time.
The 4th difficulty is composing our poster because the poster requires a lot of content and we don't know how to use Photoshop to make our poster. We are inspired by our coach. Finally we have the great and colourful poster.
In the end, we benefit from these difficulties and the past few months’ experience.
This modular robot is our previous design.
From this FLL competition, we have experienced a lot because we first participate this competition, we face lots of problems and challenges.
First, we have learnt cooperation.
Apart from that, we have faced lots of difficulties. The 1st difficulty is starting our project and thinking creative idea because we choose the most common natural disaster, earthquake, and the community, Japan. Other teams have thought a lot of creative idea so we have these difficulties. After we do the research , we finally have a good idea. Our idea is from a present technology called Augmented Reality.
Another difficulty is building our website because the competition needs us to share the process of constructing the robots and doing the project, we don't know what should be put in and which template is the most suitable to build our website. We have asked our coach and other team members. After several weeks, our websites is completely built and published.
The 3rd difficulty is building our modular robot because we first take part this competition, we don't know what the characteristics of the EV3 robots and the competition map. We have asked our coach, other team's coach, searched demonstration videos from YouTube. Also, we have done a lot of test of the component whether it's success or fail. For example, we embed a component that to pull down the leaf for the task but it is difficult to give force to pull down the leaf when we are doing test.
